The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have announced their Finalists for 2019. They range from the cute to the hilarious, and they’re published with the aim of bringing more awareness to conservation needs around the world.
Founded by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, CWPA is a global, online and free entry competition featuring animals caught in funny moments – either naturally, or anthropomorphically speaking.
There are three key messages CWPA is seeking to highlight, as part of their ‘conservationist at home’ promotion: Shop responsibly, through avoiding products that damage natural habitat and by reusing and recycling; Limit water use at home, by shortening your showers and lessening the extent of garden watering; Become a ‘wild influencer’, encouraging others to embrace nature.
The winners will be announced on 13 November 2019. For more information and to vote for your winner, visit the website at comedywildlifephoto.com, and as always be sure to go check out the sites of the featured photographers to support their work.
